Tennis: MTM Doubles Bowl 2020 Finals
The Manders Tennis Management Doubles Bowl Tournament came to an end at the Fairmont Southampton Tennis Courts.
Ben Simmons and Lavern Stowe were crowned the Mixed Doubles Champions, while Scott Redmond and Tariq Simons were the Men’s Doubles Champions.
Jones and Stowe had to battle to claim the title taking on Scott Redmond and Imani Phillips. The final needed a third set tie-breaker that saw a total of 26 points. Jones and Stowe won the first set 4-0, but Redmond and Phillips won the second set 4-2, the third set tie-breaker saw Jones and Stowe emerge winners 14-12.
Redmond and Simons claimed the title after they picked up a straight sets victory over Jovan Whitter and Bobby Bart 4-1, 4-2.
