White House Tweets Thanks To Rodney Smith

The U.S. White House has tweeted a story about Bermudian Rodney Smith Jr to their 21 million followers, and thanked him for his “great service to the community.”

The official White House Twitter account posted, “In addition to mowing for the elderly, disabled, single mothers and veterans, free of charge, Rodney is delivering food and supplies as well. Thank you for your great service to the community!”

    Impressed. Well done. what a fine example that needs BERMUDA support. Prior to COVID great opportunities were missed. He and other young people did get a PLP award but his name and Bermuda Tourism could have been on his vehicle promoting Bermuda. But they don’t have that vision. And why we remain last in line in our own country on so many things even though the Government says Bermudians first.
