50% Off On Transfer Fees For Essential Workers
Western Union Company and its local agent Blue Nile Services will be offering a 50% discount on transfer fees for essential workers.
A spokesperson said, “The Western Union Company, a leader in cross-border, cross-currency money movement, and its local agent Blue Nile Services, has introduced a Global promotion, offering a 50% discount on transfer fees to essential workers.
“When the world Stops, you keep going, and to show our gratitude, we’re offering frontline responders and essential workers 50% transfer fee discount, valid now until to May 20, 2020.
“The categories are:
- Healthcare Worker – hospital or other medical facilities, including veterinary surgery
- First Responders
- Grocery & food service
- Transportation and Delivery
- Utility
- Bank
- Pharmacy
- Gas Station
- Office of a registered medical or dental practitioner
- Any of the essential services
“Customers must visit the Western Union Local Agent, Blue Nile Services LTD. Located on 1 Burnaby Street Hamilton, Bermuda HM11. Mondays-Fridays 10am-2pm. Customers are asked to wear a mask, only three [3] people allowed inside, and follow social distancing of 6ft apart outside with the marked grey tape.”

I wish someone would do something for the rest of us unessential workers who followed the rules or even went above and beyond to minimize spread.
