Bermuda Aviation Purchases Stake In BAS-Serco

In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange, Bermuda Aviation Services Limited has announced the purchase of the remaining stake in BAS-Serco Ltd, making the company – renamed to BAS Facilities Management Ltd. – “100% Bermuda-owned.”

The filing stated, “Bermuda Aviation Services Limited purchases remaining stake in BAS-Serco Ltd. BAS-Serco now 100% Bermuda-owned and renamed BAS Facilities Management Ltd.

“The Board of Directors of Bermuda Aviation Services Limited are pleased to announce the acquisition of the previous outstanding minority interest of BAS-Serco Ltd. from North American shareholder Serco Inc.

“As a result, BAS-Serco Ltd. is now a fully owned subsidiary of Bermuda Aviation Services Limited and will now be operating as BAS Facilities Management Ltd [BASFM].

“BASFM is a Facilities Management Company which provides fully managed building support and janitorial services for select clients in Bermuda. There is no impact to the management or employees and BASFM will continue to provide high quality and environmentally friendly services and products to its clients.”

David Pugh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said, “As a full service facilities management provider in Bermuda, we will continue to practice the highest global standards in our industry using relevant key performance indicators that ensure we consistently exceed our clients’ expectations.”
