Government: Summer Camp Fully Subscribed
The Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation is advising the public that all of its summer day camps are fully subscribed, saying that “numbers reached capacity faster than usual.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation is advising the public that all of its summer day camps are fully subscribed.
“A Department spokesperson noted that the annual programme is very popular and vacancies typically fill up very quickly.
“This year, however the numbers reached capacity faster than usual.
“Staff at the Department advised that they are currently assessing the registration submissions and if parents still have interest in enrolling their children, there is a wait list.
“Parents can send an email to sdc@gov.bm with the following information to be added to the wait list:
- The child’s name
- The child’s age
- Camp location
- Contact number
- Parent information
“The Department takes this opportunity to thank parents for their participation in and support of this year’s Summer Day Camp programme.”
