The cannon was fired three times in total, twice by the Museum and once by the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service [BFRS], with members of the Bermuda Police Service and Royal Bermuda Regiment in attendance.

NMB Executive Director Elena Strong previously said: “During our temporary closure, while we were more remote than ever, we found that history and culture helped keep us together. Now that we are re-open, we look forward to safely welcoming visitors back.”
