Video: BNV With Katura Horton-Perinchief
Katura Horton-Perinchief — the first black woman in the world to compete in Olympic diving – is joining host Earl Basden today [July 8] for the fifth episode in a new Bernews News & Views series on sports.
Ms Horton-Perinchief made her historic Olympic showing in 2004, and has also represented Bermuda in numerous international competitions including the Commonwealth Games, World Championships, Pan Am Games and more.
She started the Star Diving Summer Camp, served on the Bermuda Olympic Association Executive Board, the Central American and Caribbean region’s technical diving committee and is also a certified diving judge.
