Charity Golf Day For Private Ndavyah Williams
The Renegades Rugby Football Club and the Royal Bermuda Regiment will be holding a golf fundraiser for Private Ndavyah Williams, who was seriously injured whilst manning a Covid-19 checkpoint.
A spokesperson said, “Private Williams, of the Royal Bermuda Regiment, was involved in a serious, life-threatening incident whilst manning a COVID-19 checkpoint earlier this year.
“He remains in hospital in Boston where he continues to receive treatment and undergo regular operations for his injuries. During his rehabilitation, Ndavyah and his family are likely to incur a lot of additional expenses and ongoing costs beyond his normal medical bills.
“Private Williams’ friends in the Bermuda rugby community and his colleagues at the Royal Bermuda Regiment have organized a golf fundraising event at Turtle Hill Golf Club on Saturday September 12th.
“All funds raised will go towards supporting Private Williams as he bravely battles his way back to full health.
