Covid-19: 881 Test Results, None Were Positive

There were 881 test results received today and none were positive for Covid-19, so Bermuda has had a total of 168 confirmed positive cases to date, with 8 of the cases being active.

A Government spokesperson said, “Today there were 881 test results received by the Ministry of Health, and none were positive for Covid-19.

“Bermuda has had 168 total confirmed positive cases. Their status is as follows:

  • 151 have recovered, and
  • there are 8 active cases, who are
  • all under active public health monitoring;
  • none is hospitalized or in critical care, and
  • the total deceased remains 9.

“The source of all local cases is as follows:

  • 61 are Imported
  • 86 are Local transmission, with known contact
  • 19 are Local transmission with an unknown contact, and
  • 2 are under investigation

“Bermuda’s country status is “Sporadic Cases”. The seven-day average of our real time reproduction number is less than 1.

“The Ministry of Health wishes to remind members of the public of the recent amendment to the Public Health regulations limiting raft-ups to a maximum of three boats. Also, the public are reminded that physical distancing is required on commercial boats – or ‘party boats’ – as well as on private boats if households are mixed.”

    These results are not supportable by data. Everv day another 900+ results are negative and the airport is open to include residents returning? If true then lets get back to normal.
    Something is not right. Does Bermuda even have the capability to do so many tests?

      First it’s making light of the Premier’s ‘aggressive testing regime’. Now it’s whether we have the capability to do this many test?

      This Gov’t can’t win with these people. If you are that interested, then volunteer to see how it’s done. Smh.

        I don’t believe the results. The chances that every passenger on a Number of flights is Covid free is unlikely.

    How about after you shove that swap up and in someones nazol passage you subsidized vitamin D to every victim of your inaccurate test. If you genuinely want to keep infections down.
