Cricket U11 & U14 Youth Leagues To Start
The Bermuda Cricket Board announced the start of the 2020 BCB U11 and U14 Youth Leagues.
“Hiscox will continue to be the title sponsor of the U11 league with games being played on Monday’s and Wednesday’s until September 9 at Warwick Academy Field. Teams include: Warwick Academy, Warwick Workmen’s, Somerset CC and Cleveland CCC,” a spokesperson said.

Our sincere thanks go to the coaches, volunteers and the BCB for organizing the youth leagues, especially at this uncertain time. We are delighted to play our part in helping our youth cricket teams flourish.”
For the first time, the U14 League is sponsored by KPMG with matches being played on Tuesday’s and Friday’s until September 11 at Warwick Academy Field and Harris Bay Field. Teams include: Warwick Academy, Cleveland CCC, Somerset CC, Warwick Workmen’s, St George’s CC and a BCB select team from the U15 National Academy.

“Health and safety protocols will be taken seriously to ensure the safety of all players and staff [temperature checks of all participants, social distancing, hand sanitizing, no sharing of gear etc.]. We wish all of the teams the best and hope that the games will be played in the true spirit of cricket and sportsmanship.”
