Large Group Exemption: Bermuda Industrial Union Membership Meetings

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Industrial Union Membership Meetings are gatherings justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 [1] and [2] of the Public Health [COVID-19 Emergency Powers] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than fifty persons assembling;

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 [4] of those Regulations permitting a group of more than fifty persons to assemble on Thursday August 13, 2020 at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm at the Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club, 76 Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke Parish

Conditions:

• All persons attending the meetings must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.

• Maximum of 150 persons per meeting.

• Meeting times: 9:00 am and 1:00 pm

• Meeting room to be cleaned and sanitized between meetings.

• Organizers to record details of persons in attendance at the meetings for purpose of contact tracing.

• The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe adherence to the conditions as prescribed above.

• Maximum of 350 persons per meeting.

• Meeting times: 9:00 am and 1:00 pm

• Meeting room to be cleaned and sanitized between meetings.

• Organizers to record details of persons attending the meetings for purpose of contact tracing.

• The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe adherence to the conditions as prescribed above.
