U.S. Consulate Assisting With Mail Services

The U.S. Consulate said they are “aware of inconveniences caused by the suspension of mail services from the United States to Bermuda” and have ”been engaged in positive dialogue with contacts in the United States to help get the issue resolved.”

A spokesperson said, “U.S. Consulate General Hamilton is aware of inconveniences caused by the suspension of mail services from the United States to Bermuda.

“U.S. Consul General Lee Rizzuto has made the restoration of U.S. postal services one of his top priorities during this time and has been engaged in positive dialogue with contacts in the United States to help get the issue resolved.

“A solution has been identified and I anticipate it to be implemented soon,” says the U.S. Consul General. “The resumption of the U.S. postal service to the island is vital to the broad community, businesses, and American citizens resident in Bermuda.”
