Temporary Closure Of Water Street West Street
Water Street West in St George’s — from Customs House Square to Blacksmith’s Hill — will be closed to vehicular traffic from Monday, August 24th through Wednesday, August 26th.
A spokesperson said, “The Corporation of St. George [CSG] would like to inform the public that Water Street West from Customs House Square to Blacksmith’s Hill will be closed to vehicular traffic commencing on Monday 24th through Wednesday 26th of August. The road closure is to allow repair work to take place on the St. George’s Post office building.
“The road will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 8 am to 5 pm on the days outlined. We ask for patience from the motoring public as this much needed work is undertaken.”
