Armstrong Wins NJIC Colonial Championships

Following his win over the weekend, Nathan Armstrong ran to victory in the NJIC Colonial Conference Boys Divisional Championships.

The event featured nine teams and 61 competitors and took place at Woodland Park, New Jersey.

Armstrong, representing Pompton Lakes, clocked a winning time of 16:41. He finished 58 seconds ahead of second place finisher Aidan Carroll, who was representing Glen Rock as he crossed the line in a time of 17:39; Co-Op Park Ridge runner Richard Weissenborn finished third with a time of 18:05.

Armstrong’s run led his team to victory with 62 points, with Leonia finishing second with 74 points, and Glen Rock finishing third with 78 points.
