Football: Tuff Dogs Advance In FA Challenge Cup
Tuff Dogs became the second Corona League team to advance in the FA Challenge Cup following their 2 – 1 win over Flanagan’s Onions.
The Tuff Dogs took the lead in the 35th minute with a Shaun Brown goal, and Brown then doubled the Tuff Dogs lead when he found the back of the net for the second time in the game in the 50th minute.
The Flanagan’s Onions got within a goal when Akim Johnston converted from the penalty spot in the 74th minute, however they could not find the equalizer in the remaining 16 minutes.
