Large Group Exemption:

Funeral Repast

[Deceased –Clevonte’ Lodge-Bean]

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Funeral Repast for the late Mr. Clevonte’ Lodge-Bean is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 [1] and [2] of the Public Health [COVID-19 Emergency Powers] [No.3] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 [4] of those Regulations to Ms. Lindsay Lodge permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Monday November 23, 2021 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm at The Berkeley Institute School [Gymnasium and Field], 26 Berkeley Road, Pembroke Parish with the following conditions:

Conditions:

  1. All persons attending the Funeral Repast for the late Mr. Clevonte’ Lodge-Bean must maintain appropriate physical distancing which is described as; maintaining a distance between all persons who are not members of the same household of at least –
    1. six feet; or
    2. three feet, provided each person is wearing a mask which completely covers their nose and mouth, and follow any relevant guidance.
  2. Maximum number of attendees – Maximum of 150 persons [inclusive of guests, service/support staff and security personnel]
  3. Gymnasium and bathrooms to be cleaned on an hourly basis.
  4. Exemption Duration: 4 hours [4:00 pm to 8:00 pm]
  5. Recording of names and contact information of persons attending the event for the purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for 28 days post-date of the event.
  6. Adherence to all applicable COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
  7. The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.
  8. The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe compliance of the conditions as prescribed above

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda High School – Holiday Bazaar is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 [1] and [2] of the Public Health [COVID-19 Emergency Powers] [No.3] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 [4] of those Regulations to Bermuda High School [Sue Reilly] permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Saturday December 5, 2021 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm at 19 Richmond Road, Pembroke Parish, with the following conditions:

Conditions:

  1. All persons attending the Bermuda High School Holiday Bazaar must maintain appropriate physical distancing which is described as; maintaining a distance between all persons who are not members of the same household of at least –
    1. six feet; or
    2. three feet, provided each person is wearing a mask which completely covers their nose and mouth,
  2. and follow any relevant guidance.
  3. Maximum number of attendees – Maximum of 100 persons allowed in gym at any given time.
  4. Gymnasium and bathrooms to be cleaned on an hourly basis.
  5. Recording of names and contact information of persons attending the event for the purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for 28 days post-date of the event.
  6. Adherence to all applicable COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.

Now, therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 [4] of those Regulations to St. Swan’s Running Club [Marla Smith] permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Sunday, December 6, 2021, between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm at Northshore Medical & Aesthetics Center, 7 North Shore Road School, Devonshire Parish, with the following conditions:

Conditions:

  • All persons attending the Northshore Medical & Aesthetics Centre event must maintain appropriate physical distancing which is described as; maintaining a distance between all persons who are not members of the same household of at least –
    • [a] six feet; or
