Roberts Competes In Gator Cup Tournament
Following his 21st place finish in the qualification round of the Eastern Foundation Gator Cup Archery Tournament in the Recurve Cadet Men’s Division, archer Jaydon Roberts was back in action as he entered the elimination round with a bye in the 1/32nd round which then moved him into the 1/16th round where he was eliminated by his opponent 6 / 4.
This was Roberts’s first international outdoor event at 60 meters.
Roberts said, “Overall this was a great event for me. The winds did have an effect today for all the archers as they constantly changed. While many of the archers competing today were more experienced I was ready for the challenge. I am pleased with my result and know what I need to do for next year.”
