Power Outage In Southampton, 340 Customers

Some west end residents may be getting a sense of déjà vu, as there is power outage affecting approximately 340 customers in Southampton today [Dec 21], with BELCO explaining that the outage is an “isolated incident due to a fault on a utility pole.”

At approximately 3.45pm this afternoon, the company said, “We’re aware of an outage currently affecting approximately 340 customers in Southampton. The outage is an isolated incident due to a fault on a utility pole. A crew has been dispatched to investigate and will restore power to customers asap.”
