BPS Reminds Public Of Curfew, Speed Limits
The Bermuda Police Service is reminding the public of the 11.00pm curfew, with officers to be on the roads enforcing both the curfew and speed limits.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Martin Weekes said, “The public are reminded of the need to plan ahead to give themselves adequate time be home in time for the 11.00pm curfew.
“Please note that the BPS will be out on the roads enforcing the curfew but also enforcing the speed limits to ensure the safety of the motoring public and our essential workers who will be still on the roads around curfew time.”
The current curfew that is in effect extends from 11.00pm to 5.00am.
Lord have mercy.
Very interesting to read the BPS will be enforcing the speed limits. I see every day on our roads cycles, scooters for the most part traveling at speeds well in excess of the speed limits. It is well past time for the BPS to be seen and to put into action a real and noticeable stop to this. Where are you ?
If you think it’s just cycles and scooters you seriously need to look again.
