Weather Forecast For Tuesday December 8

Tuesday, December 8 is expected to see early showers, chance of thunder, easing by afternoon, with the high to be near 22°C/72°F and the low to be near 17°C/63°F, according to the Bermuda Weather Service.

Winds are expected to be WSW. The relative humidity is expected to be near 72%.

Sunrise will be at 7.08am and sunset will be at 5.14pm. High tide will be at 2.17am and 2.33pm, while low tide will be at 8.26am and 9.04pm.

The Bermuda Weather Service has issued a Gale Warning valid until Tuesday morning, Thunderstorm Advisory valid through Tuesday morning, and Small Craft Warning valid for Tuesday morning through Wednesday.

Their forecast for Tuesday says, “Early showers, chance of thunder, easing by afternoon. Winds south-southwesterly strong to gale force gusts to storm force, veering west-southwesterly and decreasing strong by late morning, then gradually decreasing towards evening and settling westerly moderate to strong overnight. High near 22°C/72°F, low near 17°C/63°F. Clear sky UV Index forecast – 3 or moderate.”

The BWS also noted that, “The Bermuda Weather Service highlighted that a Gale Warning and a Thunderstorm Advisory are both in effect for tonight, into Tuesday morning. Intensifying winds, rapidly developing gusty gales, and wet weather begin this evening, persisting into Tuesday morning with the chance of early thunder.

“Sustained winds reaching 40 knots and gusts as high as 60 knots may affect Bermuda and the local Marine Area in the early hours of tomorrow morning, especially in and around heavy downpours. This is all as a result of a cold front moving across the area late tonight, in association with a deepening low pressure system passing well to the north.”
