Lane Closure For Roadside Wall Repair

The Ministry of Public Works is informing the public that there will be a lane closure on South Road near the Paget traffic lights for repairs to the roadside wall on Tuesday [Jan 12] and Wednesday [Jan 13] between 9.30am and 2.30pm.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that there will be a lane closure taking place on South Road near the Paget traffic lights for repairs to the road side wall.

“The lane closure will be on the Westbound Lane on South Road and will take place on Tuesday, 12th January and Wednesday, 13th January, 2021 between 9.30am and 2.30pm.

“Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use an alternative detour route via Middle Road during these times. There will not be any disruption to the eastbound lane while these works take place. Bus services are not expected to be affected.

“Traffic controls will be under direction of the Ministry of Public Works.

“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

“Should there be any questions regarding these works, please direct queries to the attention of Curtis Charles, Construction and Maintenance Engineer for the Ministry of Public Works on 501-3036.”
