Parfitt-Williams & Fylkir Defeat KR Reykjavik
Djair Parfitt-Williams and his Fylkir teammates defeated KR Reykjavik 4 – 0 in their Iceland Reykjavik Cup match.
Nikulas Val Gunnarsson gave Flykir the lead in the 19th minute, KR Reykjavik had a chance to equalize in the 26th minute when they were awarded a penalty, but the spot-kick was missed.
The lead was doubled in the 28th minute when Dadi Olafsson scored a header from a corner, in the 40th minute Fylkir were 3 – 0 ahead with a strike from Thordur Gunnar Hafthorsson, and Arnor Borg Gudjohnsen would make it 4 – 0 two minutes later.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the second half, as Parfitt-Williams and his teammates have made it two wins in a row in the Iceland Cup and lead Group B.
