Tennis: MTM Singles Championships Day Four
Rain would once again play a part in the day as the Manders Tennis Management 2021 Singles Championships continued at the Fairmont Southampton Tennis Courts.
Matches were delayed to start the day as rain continued to halt play, but when the day did get started spectators were treated to some entertaining play.
Trey Mallory defeated Evan Heyliger in straight sets in their A Division match 7-5, 6-1, Gavin Manders won his match in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 in the same Division defeating Jamie Talley, the number One Seed Tariq Simons defeated Nick Cooper 6-1, 6-0.
On match went three sets on the day as Jovan Whitter defeated Cooper McGuire in a marathon match 7-5, 2-6, 14-12.
