Tennis: MTM Singles Championships Day Three
Rain would once again play a major part in the day as the Manders Tennis Management 2021 Singles Championships continued at the Fairmont Southampton Tennis Courts.
A total of nine matches were either halted or did not get started due to rain. In an early A Division match Daniel Phillips defeated Scott Redmond who retired down 2 – 1 in the second set, this after falling 6-3 in the first set. Gavin Manders defeated Denzel Hollis in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 in another A Division match.
Sebastian Pukke won his B Division match in straight sets defeating Jaden Jones 6-1, 6-1, while in the Green Ball Division, Jaden Jones defeated Sergio Griffin 6-0, and Robert Richardson defeated Jonathon Phillips 6-2.
