Video: H&H Gombeys Celebrate New Year’s Day
The H&H Gombeys were out making their rounds yesterday [Jan 1], offering short, physically-distanced performances to help celebrate the first day of the new year, with the troupe traveling to various neighbourhoods across the island.
It has been a longstanding tradition that the Gombeys perform on New Year’s Day and that tradition carried on, with the Government previously noting that the Gombey troupes worked with Government to agree on a plan in order to provide performances while also keeping the public safe.
