Road Works On Middle Road In Warwick
BELCO in conjunction with the Ministry of Public Works will be doing trench work and road widening works on Middle Road in Warwick from February 15th to February 28th from 7.30am to 6.00pm daily.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that BELCO in conjunction with the Ministry of Public Works will undergo trench work and road widening works on Middle Road in Warwick Parish.
“The one lane closure for BELCO trench work on Middle Road will commence from Belmont substation in Warwick to Longford Road junction in Warwick and will affect the westbound lane.
“These improvement works will take place from Monday February 15th 2021 through to Friday February 28th 2021. Working hours will be from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm daily.
“Traffic controls will be under direction of BELCO representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals & signage.
“The motoring public traveling west is advised to seek alternative routes via South Road and Harbour Road to Longford Road to avoid this trench work sections. Various detour routes signage will be placed as trench work progresses to the west.
“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
