BELCO Working To Restore Power After Outages

The weather has caused a “series of outages island-wide” and BELCO have “restored many areas already and crews are working hard to restore power to remaining pockets as quickly as possible,” the company has said.

The BWS had a Gale Warning in effect for this morning [March 8] with high winds affecting the island.

BELCO tweeted, “Another winter storm has caused a series of outages island-wide. We’ve restored many areas already and crews are working hard to restore power to remaining pockets as quickly as possible.” For more information on current outages, visit here.
