Construction Scheduled At Admiralty House Park

The Department of Parks is advising the public of construction scheduled to take place at Admiralty House Park on Monday [March 15].

A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Parks wishes to advise the public of construction scheduled to commence at Admiralty House Park on Monday, March 15.

“The work involves reconstructing the beach access steps and retaining wall that borders Clarence Cove, severely damaged by hurricanes in 2020.

“Also included is grading and landscaping of the immediate area. The anticipated completion date is the end of April, and beach access is prohibited until the work is complete.

“Please use care and caution when travelling through the park, especially in the area under construction.

“The Department of Parks encourages the public’s full cooperation and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.”

    Any chance of paving the horrible roads in the area. Was said to be done in the last two elections. I known the roads are horrible island wide. But point been neglected for years. Guess we need some politicians move in the area.
