Good Friday Garbage Collection Advisory
The Ministry of Public Works is advising the public that due to the Good Friday holiday [April 2], garbage normally collected on that day will be collected on Saturday [April 3].
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works is advising that due to the Good Friday holiday [Friday, April 2], garbage normally collected on that day will be collected on Saturday, April 3, 2021.
“As a reminder, Friday garbage collection areas include Smith’s Parish east of Devil’s Hole, all of Hamilton and St. George’s parishes except the Old Town. East recycling collection areas include St. George’s, Hamilton, Smith’s, Pembroke, and Devonshire parishes with the exclusion of Tee Street and Kent Avenue.
“Please place bagged garbage out for collection no later than 7:30 a.m.
