Good Friday Garbage Collection Advisory
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised the public of upcoming changes to waste and recycling collection schedules due to the Good Friday holiday.
A Government spokesperson said, “Good Friday will be observed on Friday, April 18; as a result, Friday’s waste and recycling will be collected on Saturday, April 19th. The Tynes Bay Public Drop-off will be open from 9 a.m. until noon on Friday, April 18th.
