Governor Rena Lalgie Extend Condolences

Governor Rena Lalgie extended her condolences to the family of Mr Kenneth Richardson and Ms Heather Jacobs-Matthews.

Government House said, “A message of condolence from Her Excellency the Governor following the passing of Bermuda’s first black Cabinet Secretary, Mr Kenneth Richardson, and Bermuda’s first black woman to serve as Auditor-General, Ms Heather Jacobs-Matthews.”

The Governor said, “Although I did not have the honour of meeting Mr Richardson, and Ms Jacobs-Matthews, it is evident that their impact on Bermuda is immeasurable and will continue to provide inspiration to us all for years to come.

“I am truly grateful for their service and send my sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the late Kenneth Richardson and Heather Jacobs-Matthews.”
