Bermuda Cricket Board Partners With Deloitte

April 27, 2021

The Executive of the Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] announced a partnership with Deloitte Bermuda.

A spokesperson said, “Through an IAC non-profit opportunity with Deloitte, the BCB has participated in the Impact Every Day skills-based volunteer initiative. The aim of the programme is to build relationships by offering ongoing support to local charities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“In the past, Deloitte dedicated their time and resources on one full working day to various causes around the island.

“As a result of participation, Deloitte has agreed to purchase a full year’s subscription of Bloomerang, a donor management software, trusted by thousands of non-profits, to support the BCB’s continuous sponsorship efforts.

“The platform will benefit the BCB by improving the engagement with our current & future stakeholders. Its core functionality includes a donor database and constituent relationship management [CRM] system, dashboards and custom reporting, engagement meters, email marketing tools, data analytics, and integrated online giving forms. Organisations can also connect Bloomerang to over 2,000+ other apps through Zapier-enabled integrations.”

Rachelle Frisby, Deloitte Corporate Social Responsibility Partner, said: “At the heart of Impact Every Day is Deloitte’s commitment to forging meaningful relationships with charities to provide ongoing skills-based volunteering opportunities that meet their long-term needs.

“Launching as a global initiative earlier last year, we received over 40 submissions from local charities in response to our Impact Every Day appeal; we offer support in areas such as providing job skills, improving educational outcomes, and increasing access to opportunities. The type of support needed varies from charity to charity; we have already provided webinars and skill building seminars to nonprofit leaders and have facilitated sessions to help charities build effective strategic plans.

“I am pleased that the Deloitte Bermuda team identified and sponsored a software program that will help the Bermuda Cricket Board fulfil their sponsorship efforts.”

Paul Ross, the BCB Fund Development Chair, added: “The Board wishes to thank Deloitte for their generous sponsorship, both financially and in lending their expertise to help us select this platform. The timing of their donation is judicious and will be invaluable in assisting us to maintain a comprehensive database to modernise and streamline our efforts.”
