South Road Near Tucker’s Town Road Hamilton Parish Lane Closure For Belco Trench Work

Wednesday April 14th, 2021 To Wednesday May 19th, 2021

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that BELCO will undergo trench work on South Road near Tucker’s Town Road junction in Hamilton Parish. This work will require a one-lane closure along South Road’s westbound lane for approximately 300 feet length.

This lane closure will take place April 14th, 2021 through May19, 2021. Working hours will be from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, weekly Monday through Sunday.

Traffic controls will be under the direction of BELCO, Island Construction & Works & Engineering representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals and directional signs during rush hours.

Motorists are advised to drive cautiously past this construction area and avoid speeding to protect themselves & construction workers on site.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
