Police Investigating Threatening Video
The police have launched an investigation into a video circulating “in which a male is heard threatening violence against members of the community including police officers” and said that early indications are the individual “is currently overseas” and the BPS is treating this matter seriously.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] is aware of a video circulating on social media, in which a male is heard threatening violence against members of the community including police officers.
“An investigation to determine the source of the video has begun. Early indications are the individual seen in the video is currently overseas.
“That notwithstanding, the BPS is treating seriously with this matter. We ask that should you receive the video in question, you not share it on and instead delete it.
“Anyone with information on the individual featured in the video is asked to call 211, the main police number, 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers number, 800-8477.”
