Video: BHB Asks To ‘Call, Don’t Just Turn Up’
The Bermuda Hospitals Board [BHB] has released an animated public service announcement to advise the public to call before attending the Emergency Department if they are concerned about possible Covid-19 symptoms.
The video’s text says, “Worried you have Covid-19 symptoms that are getting worse? Check the Covid-19 symptom checklist online first.
“Think you still need medical help? Do not turn up in person at hospital before calling! Use your phone!
“Call; don’t just turn up! We will advise by phone how to come in for care safely, if needed.”
People are advised to call the KEMH Emergency Department on 239-2009 or 239-1301.
