Bermuda Record Equaled During UANA Qualifiers

The four Bermuda swimmers continued competing at the Unión Americana de Natación Qualifier in Clermont, Florida.

Emma Harvey, Madelyn Moore, Jack Harvey, and Jesse Washington were all back in action on the third day of the event.

Moore won the Women’s 50 Long Course Freestyle, equaling her personal best and the Bermuda National Record time of 25.95, which was just off the qualification time of 25.51.

Emma Harvey finished 3rd in the Women’s 100 Long Course Meter Butterfly B Final touching the wall in a time of 1:04.67.

Earlier in the day, Moore finished second competing in the Women’s 50 LC Meter Freestyle Preliminaries clocking a time of 26.28.

During the Men’s 50 Long Course Meter Freestyle Preliminaries, Washington finished 35th with a time of 24.47, while Jack Harvey finished 48th in a time of 25.23.

Emma Harvey finished 12th in the Women’s 100 Long Course Meter Butterfly Preliminaries touching the wall in a time of 1:04.93, which would see her advance to the B Final.
