BUEI Seeking Vendors For Oceans Gift Shop
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] is seeking local vendors to “partner with and showcase their Bermuda-themed merchandise in the Oceans Gift Shop this summer.”
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute is seeking local vendors to partner with and showcase their Bermuda-themed merchandise in the Oceans Gift Shop this summer.”
Barb Jones, BUEI Membership Coordinator and Gift Shop Manager, said, “Our visitors always have a big interest in Bermuda made or themed products. The island has so many talented artists and creatives, we’d like to showcase them in our Oceans Gift Shop.”
The spokesperson said, “Items to be considered for display should be:
- Locally made or Bermuda themed items. Preference will be given to those locally made
- Priced to allow for 70/30 consignment
- Three-month commitment to ensure stocked as needed
“In addition to having their items in the Oceans Gift Shop, vendors will be able to be on site at BUEI at least once during the summer to set-up their own display in the lobby and engage directly with visitors.
“Interested persons should email giftshop@buei.bm with a bio, photos of their Bermuda- themed items, and a price list.
“BUEI is a Safe Travel Destination and follows all relevant health protocols to ensure the safety of our guests.”
