Adam Hall & Aberdeen IronBirds Notch Victory
Adam Hall and his Aberdeen IronBirds teammates recently returned to their winning ways as they picked up a 9-5 win over the Hudson Valley Batters.
Hall and his teammates improve to 7-2 on the season. Hall – playing at short stop – had five at-bats, recording a hit and a run.
Aberdeen jumped out to a 3 – 0 lead in the first inning. Hudson pulled within one when they scored twice in the bottom of the third.
The game was level at 3 – 3 in the bottom of the 6th inning when Hudson scored again, but Aberdeen responded with a single run in the 7th, and then five runs in the 8th to open up a six run lead. Hudson could only answer with two runs in the bottom of the 9th.
Hall’s hit came in the 8th inning when he singled; he later moved to third on back-to-back walks, and then scored on a Maverick Handley single.
