Adam Hall Stars In Goldeyes Victory
Bermudian baseball player Adam Hall collected three hits as the Winnipeg Goldeyes beat the Chicago Dogs 14-5 in the American Association.
Hall went 3-for-5 with a run scored as every Winnipeg batter recorded at least one hit and one run.
The home side broke the game open with a ten-run third inning before adding three more runs in the fourth to build a 13-0 lead.
Chicago scored twice in the fifth and added single runs in the seventh, eighth and ninth, but never threatened the home side.
Jiandido Tromp went 2-for-3 with four RBIs and three runs scored, while Noah Marcelo drove in three runs.
Kevin Vaupel earned the win after allowing two runs on five hits over six innings.
