Sports To Move To Phase 4 Effective June 6

Effective June 6th, sports will move to Stage 4 of the Return to Play Guidance which “allows for full play with fans.”

A Government spokesperson said, “On June 6, Bermuda will move into Phase 3 on its roadmap to recovery. As such, the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Sport advised that as Bermuda enters Phase 3, sports will move to Stage 4 of the Return to Play Guidance – effective June 6.

“Stage 4 allows for full play with fans. For athletes, this phase is subject to monthly testing [unless immunized]; permitted group size; and ensuring all Public Health guidance is followed.

“The Ministry takes this opportunity to remind the sporting community that controlling the Covid-19 spread is an ongoing effort. In that regard, the Ministry appreciates the patience, collaboration and support of the public and sports community.”
