Swimmers Win 20 More Medals In Bahamas
Members from the Harbour Swim Club and the Sharks Swim Club continued competing in the Bahamas National Swimming Championships in Nassau, winning 20 additional medals in the latest day of action.
Harbour
During the 13-14 boys 400m freestyle Brandon Adkins claimed the silver medal with a time of 4:25.17, while Sam Williamson won the 15-17 boys 400m freestyle gold medal with a time of 4:10.29, Jack Harvey won the silver medal clocking 4:10.47.
During the 11-12 girls 50m freestyle Agathe Candillon finished 6th with a time of 30.54, Ava Pedro was 9th clocking 30.83, while Arabella Newport Derbyshire finished 14th clocking 32.82, and Violet Smith was 15th in 33.08.
Elena Pearman finished 17th competing in the 13-14 girls 50m freestyle with a time of 31.83, while Brandon Adkins finished 7th in the 13-14 boys 50m freestyle touching the wall in a time of 26.43.
During the 15-17 girls 50m freestyle Emma Harvey claimed the bronze medal clocking a time of 27.46, while Myeisha Sharrieff finished 4th in a time of 28.74, Caleb Ingham won the silver medal during the 15-17 boys 50m freestyle clocking a time of
During the 11-12 girls 100m breaststroke Agathe Candillon claimed the silver medal with a time of 1:28.37, while the 15-17 boys 100m breaststroke gold medal went to Sam Williamson who touched the wall in a time of 1:06.99.
During the 11-12 girls 200m backstroke Arabella Newport Derbyshire won the silver medal with a time of 2:43.95, Violet Smith clocked a time of 2:47.63 to finish 4th. Elena Pearman finished 6th in the 13-14 girls 200m backstroke clocking a time of 2:42.12.
Emma Harvey won the 15-17 Girls gold medal in the 200m Backstroke with a time of 2:28.04, and Jack Harvey won the bronze medal in the 15-17 Boys bronze medal with a time of 2:6.74.
In the 11-12 girls 400 freestyle relay Arabella Newport Derbyshire, Violet Smith, Agathe Candillon, and Ava Pedro won the silver medal with a time of 4:39.97.
Sharks
In timed finals Marleigh Howes, won the silver medal in the 11-12 girls 400m freestyle with a time of 5:04.87, during the 13-14 girls 400m freestyle Daria Desmond finished 10th clocking a time of 5:21.62.
In the 15-17 girls 400m freestyle Taylor White won the bronze medal clocking 4:44.56, while Tayla Horan finished 5th clocking a time of 4:55.13, and Brian Desmond finished 6th in the 15-17 boys 400m freestyle with a time of 4:21.86.
In the 11-12 girls 200m backstroke finals, Elanna Fulton finished 5th with a time of 2:49.13, while the 15-17 girls 200m backstroke 6th place went to Taylor White who clocked a winning time of 2:31.65 winning the B Final.
Marleigh Howes won the 11-12 girls 50m freestyle gold medal with a time of 28.49, while Elanna Fulton finished 6th overall with a time of 29.81.
The 13-14 girls 50m freestyle bronze medal went to Bella Howes who clocked a time of 28.10, while Daria Desmond finished 16th overall with a time of 31.00.
Tayla Horan finished 5th competing in the 15-17 girls 50m freestyle with a time of 29.22, while Taylor White finished 6th with a time of 29.34, while in the 15-17 boys 50m freestyle Brian Desmond finished 11th with a time of 26.24, and in the 13-14 girls 100m breaststroke Bella Howes finished 4th with a time of 1:24.23.
