Bermuda Stroke Play Championships Round 2
The second round of the Bermuda Stroke Play Championships took place today [July 3] at Port Royal Golf Course.
A spokesperson said, “The 2nd round of the Bermuda Stroke Play Championships was played today at Port Royal Golf Course under strong SSW winds.
“In the Men’s Championship Division, Damian Palanyandi moved up into 1st place after recording a 3-over par 74. The overnight leader, Scott Barnett played well under the challenging conditions, but his score of 78 dropped him into 2nd place three shots behind the leader.
“A similar story emerged in the Ladies Championship Division as Kim Botelho with two steady rounds of 81 took the lead and is 6 shots ahead of Tracy Burgess, while the overnight leader Tracy Nash dropped down to third place.
“In the Senior Men’s Championship Division, Arthur Jones held onto his overnight lead with Ian Page only 4 shots behind and Hav Trott moving up into 3rd place.
“Tomorrow is the final round of the Bermuda Stroke Play Championships and with all divisions being closely contested any number of players could emerge as the winner.
