Diversions For Bus Routes 1 & 3 To Continue

July 13, 2021

The Department of Public Transportation [DPT] advised that bus route detours for No. 1 and 3 buses will continue with the route diversions “due to ongoing road works in the Shark Hole Hill and Harrington Sound Road areas.”

A Government spokesperson said, “As a note, route 1 buses will continue to travel up Collector’s Hill onto Verdmont Road, turning right onto Middle Road to Flatt’s Inlet then on North Shore Road to connect back onto Route 1 at the roundabout at Wilkinson Avenue.

“Route 3 buses will continue on to Flatt’s Inlet and North Shore Road to Wilkinson Avenue in Hamilton Parish. Test bus runs will continue to be done to determine the safe passage of buses and the public will be notified upon the resumption of normal routings.

“The DPT thanks the public for their continued patience and cooperation.”
