Governor Lalgie Welcomes US Consul General
Governor Rena Lalgie welcomed the new U.S. Consul General, Karen Grissette to Government House yesterday [July 8].
The Government House posted the photo below online, saying: “On 8 July 2021 Her Excellency the Governor was pleased to receive at Government House Ms Karen Grissette, the newly appointed US Consul General to Bermuda.”
The Governor said, “It was a pleasure to meet Ms Grissette and to welcome her and her family to Bermuda. The relationship between Bermuda and the United States of America is important both from a historic and a present-day perspective. I look forward to working closely with the US Consul General during our time in Bermuda.”
