Updates: Flora Duffy Wins Gold At The Olympics!
[Updating] Bermuda’s Flora Duffy has recorded a historic and commanding win to claim Bermuda’s first ever gold Olympic medal. She raced to victory in a time of 1:55:36, which was more than one minute ahead of the silver medalist, with Ms Duffy making a dominant showing to win the Gold.
With multiple world titles and now an Olympic gold medal, she has cemented herself as one of the best triathletes of all time, and also given Bermuda the distinction of being the smallest nation in the world to win a Gold Medal at the Summer Olympics.
