Three Arrested After Stabbing On Front Street
Three people have been arrested following a “fight involving several individuals near the Flagpole on Front Street” which resulted in a 22-year-old man being stabbed.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 1:00 a.m. on Saturday 3rd July, police responded to a report of a fight involving several individuals near the Flagpole on Front Street.
“Upon arrival, persons involved in the fracas fled the scene on motorcycles and foot and were pursued by police officers.
“A 22-year-old male attended King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with a stab wound to his lower back. His injury, which was deemed non-life threatening, was treated and he was later discharged.
“Police have arrested three persons in connection with the incident.
“The scene of the stabbing was forensically processed and the matter is now being investigated by officers from the Criminal Investigations Unit.
“The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank those members of the public who have assisted with information regarding this incident.
