Video: People Celebrate Cup Match At Beach
The island celebrated the Cup Match holiday in various ways, many attending the match at the St George’s Cricket Club, some camping out, others watching the match on TV or online, and quite a few people made their way to the beach to enjoy the day.
The video below shows a look at the crowd yesterday [July 30] and some comments from people about which team they support, locals were split in their support, with some for St George’s and some for Somerset, while the two visitors to the island noted that they support Somerset.
