Fight, Two Males Arrested, Machete Seized
Yesterday afternoon, police responded to reports of two males fighting in Devonshire with one “reported to be wielding a machete whilst the other was said to be armed with a helmet,” and both men were arrested.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 5:00 p.m. yesterday, Tuesday 3rd August, police responded to reports of two males fighting in the vicinity of Lindo’s supermarket Devonshire.
“One man was reported to be wielding a machete whilst the other was said to be armed with a helmet.
“Both men were arrested near the scene and a machete seized. However, there were no reported injuries.
“Police are asking for anyone with information on this incident to please call 211 or the main police number 295-0011.”
