IAC Workshop: Dynamic & Inclusive Facilitation
The Inter Agency Committee for Children and Families [IAC] will be hosting a virtual workshop on the Design and Facilitation of Inclusive Online Meetings on Wednesday, September 15th from 10am to 12pm.
A spokesperson said, “The Inter Agency Committee for Children and Families [IAC] is hosting a free virtual workshop on the Design and Facilitation of Inclusive Online Meetings. This dynamic event will teach participants to lead more inclusive, transformative, and collaborative events.
“The workshop is being hosted by Erica Marx of Erica Marx Coaching, which specializes in the production of highly interactive transformative online events for nonprofit organizations and coalitions addressing systemic issues and social change. She will be joined by Fred Brown, a workplace team trainer and improvisational theater artist and Kat Koppett of Koppett Inc. Kat leads workshops in team-building and leadership presence and is the author of Training to Imagine and host of the Dare to be Human Podcast
“The objective of the workshop is to assist individuals with designing and facilitating inclusive and engaging online meetings and events. This includes:
- 1] A 5-step framework for transformative design;
- 2] Strategies for including all voices and managing power dynamics;
- 3] Fun activities to build trust and connection among participants; and more.
“The workshop is free for IAC members and $15 for non-members. The training is virtual and will be held from 10am to 12pm on Wednesday September 15th. Registration is available online until Monday September 13th.
