Jessica Lewis’ Paralympic Race Schedule
The Paralympic Games is set to get underway in Tokyo on Tuesday, August 24th, and Bermuda’s Jessica Lewis is set to make her third appearance in the Paralympic Games, where she will compete in the 100m, 400m and 800m.
Ms Lewis will compete in the T53 Women’s 800m heats scheduled for Saturday, August 28th evening [Bermuda time], the T53 Women’s 100m heats scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, August 31 [Bermuda time], and the T53 Women’s 400m heats scheduled for the morning of Thursday, September 2nd [Bermuda time].
The Bermudian sprinter is currently ranked [PDF] third in the world in the 100m — with a time of 17.00 recorded in June 2021 — and the likelihood she will progress to the finals is extremely high.
